Originally branded as Predictive One Way Logistics Inc., the Carimus Strategic Consulting team developed the new name RigPark and its brand identity. RigPark needed to support financial transactions in a two-sided market. We built the RigPark application (available in the iOS iTunes and Google Play stores) on React and React Native. This approach allows RigPark to be fast to market with the robust features, set required to support payments, GPS-based reservations, and real-time reservations. RigPark wanted to create a platform to standardize short and long-term parking for truckers.
Predictive Logistics came to Carimus with a vision: to create a platform to standardize short and long-term parking for truckers. They wanted to create a way for users to reserve spaces for their trucks and trailers ahead of time in hourly, daily, or monthly time periods. At the time, truckers had to make reservations and find parking in person when they reached their destination. Often parking was not clearly labeled, available or easy to pay for.
Carimus worked closely with RigPark to transform their vision into reality.
We created the name, brand, look and feel of the application. We then defined the feature specifications, architecture, and functional design. After that, we developed an open Beta of RigPark on both iOS and Android and collected user data. In July of 2020, RigPark went live to the public.
