GoodBookey Scores Big with Acceptance to Sportradar’s Acceleradar

April 12, 2019

Sportradar, the global market leader in sports data intelligence, has selected Carimus flagship product, GoodBookey, as a member of the 2019-20 cohort for its startup accelerator,  Acceleradar.

Designed to support innovators around the globe, the Acceleradar program gives early-stage startups access to Sportradar’s data to enhance their products and the technology that powers those products. The associated technologies include blockchain, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and immersive media.

In addition, the team at Acceleradar provides one-on-one coaching and mentoring to each cohort startup. GoodBookey joins the latest cohort on April 1, 2019. GoodBookey’s selection for Acceleradar marks the latest achievement in the young history of the simulated betting platform that offers nonprofits innovative ways to raise donations through custom games, which has featured partnerships with American Cancer Society and the Chive Media Group.

In 2017, GoodBookey took home more than $100,000 in prize money from the Publicis Groupe’s global startup competition in Paris. Recently, GoodBookey collaborated with one of its larger partners, Chive Media Group, on a two-hour spelling bee event that raised more than $15,000, attracting 27,000 streaming viewers at its peak.

As a trusted service provider to more than 1,000 companies in over 80 countries, Sportradar serves as the official partner of the some of the most respected and widely-followed sports leagues in the world, including the NBA, NFL, NHL and NASCAR, as well as soccer giants FIFA and UEFA. It is also the only provider entrusted to work with the US sports leagues in an official capacity to distribute sports data (NBA and NHL) around the world for betting purposes. The company monitors and delivers insights from more than 400,000 matches annually across 60 sports categories, having developed the industry’s most proficient software while setting new standards for speed and accuracy.

According to GoodBookey Director Tyler Eshraghi, the relationship between GoodBookey and Sportradar has come to fruition after a longstanding conversation and meeting at the Consumer Electronics Show. “We’ve been exploring some kind of partnership for quite some time,” he explained. “After meeting with them at CES in Las Vegas, we decided together that it would be a great opportunity for GoodBookey to pursue a place in the next Sportradar Acceleradar class. The access to data, mentorship, and brand value of Sportradar is second to none.”

“Sportradar’s dedication to innovation and fostering the next generation of startups through their data and technologies says a lot about who they are and how they give back to the sports betting industry. We couldn’t be more excited about our new partnership with Sportradar, and we know that GoodBookey will grow and change in so many great ways as a result of this relationship.”
